1. Who we are

MakeACalc ("MakeACalc," "we," "us") is operated by CWK Solution, based in India. MakeACalc is a product "by CalculateEveryday" — CWK Solution operates both under shared infrastructure, but MakeACalc's accounts, billing, and content are handled separately from calculateeveryday.com. Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record for MakeACalc's charges and calculates, collects, and remits applicable taxes (including Indian GST where required).

2. What MakeACalc is

MakeACalc turns a plain-English description into a calculator: a set of numeric input fields, a formula, a result, a plain-language explanation, and an embed code. You describe what you want; our systems (including a third-party AI model) generate the calculator. You are responsible for reviewing what gets generated before you rely on it or publish it anywhere.

3. Accounts

You need an account (via Clerk, using Google sign-in or email) to generate a calculator. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

4. What you're buying

• Free plan: up to 10 calculators, 1 site, and 5 AI-assisted refines per month, at no cost, for as long as your account exists. Free calculators carry a MakeACalc attribution badge.
• Creator ($39/year) and Pro ($99/year) plans: paid annual subscriptions with higher calculator/site limits, a higher monthly refine allowance, and no attribution badge on any calculator you own while the subscription is active. Badge removal and your limits are account-wide, not per calculator.
• Refines (AI-assisted edits to an existing calculator) are capped at a flat number per month per plan; they do not carry over between billing periods, and an unused allowance in one month is not available in the next.
• If you cancel a paid plan, or a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, your account reverts to Free's limits and the attribution badge returns to every calculator you own; calculators over Free's limits stay viewable but you cannot create or refine past the cap until you're back under it or upgrade again.

5. No warranty

MakeACalc, and every calculator it generates, is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that a generated formula is accurate, complete, fit for any particular purpose, or free of errors. A MakeACalc calculator — whether or not it carries the attribution badge described in §4 — has not been independently checked by a person. Removing the badge is a paid account feature, not a claim that a calculator has been reviewed or verified. Do not rely on a MakeACalc calculator for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits generating calculators for several such categories, but that policy is a control on what we allow you to request — it is not, and cannot be, a guarantee that every generated result is correct.

6. Your responsibility for what you publish

If you embed or share a calculator you generated, you are the publisher of that calculator, not us. You agree to:

• Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy — most importantly, not to request or publish a calculator that falls into a prohibited category (medical dosing, legal or financial advice presented as authoritative, credential harvesting, and the rest of that policy's list).
• Indemnify and hold CWK Solution harmless against claims, losses, or damages arising from a calculator you created or published, to the extent those claims relate to your use of the calculator rather than a defect in the MakeACalc platform itself.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CWK Solution's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of MakeACalc is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or reputational harm, arising from a calculator's output or from any interruption to the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate the Acceptable Use Policy, attempt to defraud the subscription system, or use the service in a way that creates legal risk for CWK Solution. You may stop using MakeACalc at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
